What the Autotone
Actually Is

[merged small][graphic][merged small][merged small][merged small]

It is the ability to play the great masterpiece herself that gives the Autotone its chief value in the opinion of this great singer.

Gifted with the artistic temperament, yet circumstances have prevented her from mastering the technique of piano playing.

The Autotone, that "most perfect and artistic musical strument," as she terms it, will do for you and yours what it has done for Madame Gerville-Réache.

It will enable you yourself to play, and therefore to fully comprehend, the world's musical masterpieces.

The Autotone must not be confounded with any other piano-playing device.

In its general outward appearance (that of an ordinary Upright Piano) it may resemble other player-pianos, but there the resemblance ceases.

In the quality of the music it produces, and in the patented and exclusive devices by which musical expression is obtained, it is superior to all other player-pianos.

Its interior construction, embodying entirely new principles rather than differing in mere details, in no way resembles that of other player-pianos, hence the marked superiority of the Autotone.

The Autotone is made in three basic Pianos:

The Autotone's Special
Features

The ACCENTOR, supplies the "human touch"
and the ability to personally accent the melody.

The TRANSPOSOR enables one to transpose any composition into different keys. The ADJUSTOR exactly adjusts the Music Roll.

The SELECTOR silently picks out such parts of a composition as you desire to play.

"MELODY MARKED" MUSIC ROLLS, the only Music Rolls so marked as to show just which perforations carry the melody.

The COMBINATION TRACKER-BOARD, an exclusive device by which both 88 note and 65 note music rolls can be played in the same instrument.
