That it appears to your committee, by the accounts of the said treasurer, he has received from 1st Dec. 1841, to 1st Dec. 1842::

On account of the free schools" fund,
And on account of the sinking fund,

Amounting to

That it appears to your committee the said treasurer has disbursed in the same time, the sum of sixty three thousand seven hundred and seventy-eight dollars and fifty cents,

viz:

On account of the free schools' fund, he paid to certain counties &c. as set forth in the accompanying account current,

And on account of the sinking fund he paid and invested

For all which payments and investments he has presented to your committee satisfactory vouchers.

That it appears to your committee there remains in the Treasury, as of 1st December 1942, to the credit of the free school's fund, a balance in cash of thirty six thousand nine hundred and fifty-eight dollars and ninety-six cents and this sum too, they find stands to his credit as treasurer, in the Farmers Bank of Maryland.
