FAMILY PRAYER.

PRAYING ALWAYS WITH ALL PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION IN THE SPIRIT, AND WATCHING THEREUNTO WITH ALL PERSEVERANCE AND SUPPLICATION FOR ALL SAINTS.

Ephes. vi. 18.

PRAY WITHOUT CEASING. IN EVERY THING GIVE THANKS FOR THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS CONCERNING YOU.

1 Thes. v. 17, 18.

PRAYERS.

Sunday Morning.

The Family having met together, let the Master of the House begin the Morning Prayer by reading the following Sentences from Scripture.

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy. Hallow my Sabbaths, and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.

This is the Day which the Lord hath made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. We will come before his presence with thanksgiving, and enter into his courts with praise. We will lift up our hands in the sanctuary and will bless the Lord.

We will praise the Lord with our whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

Let us humbly confess our sins to Almighty God.

O Almighty and merciful God, look down, we beseech thee, upon us thy unworthy servants,
