An Act to amend "The Distillation Act, 1884."

[Assented to, December 5th, 1900.]

E it Enacted by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Parliament of South Australia, as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as "The Distillation Amendment Act, Short title and 1900," and shall be incorporated with "The Distillation Act, 1884." incorporation.

2. The Treasurer may grant licences to distil eucalyptus oil to Licences to distil persons applying for such licences, and who enter into bonds with eucalyptus oil. two sureties to be approved by the Treasurer in the sum of One Hundred Pounds, conditioned that the still shall be used for distilling eucalyptus oil only and that the obligor will obey the provisions of "The Distillation Act, 1884," the Acts amending the same, and the regulations for the time being in force thereunder.

3. Licences under this Act may be in the form in the Schedule Form of licence hereto, and shall be for one year only, and a fee of Ten Shillings shall be paid for each licence.

1. This Act may be cited as "The Seed Wheat Amendment Short title and Act, 1900," and shall be incorporated with "The Seed Wheat Act, 1896," and the Acts incorporated therewith, hereafter called the Seed Wheat Acts.

(1) Whenever a District Council is satisfied that serious hard- Extension of times ship would be inflicted by requiring payment at the due date of any moneys payable in respect of seed wheat supplied pursuant to the Seed Wheat Acts, such Council may extend the time for the payment of such moneys, and may also in any such case of hardship remit wholly or in part the interest to fall due hereafter on any moneys advanced under this Act.

(2) The extension of time granted may provide for the repay ment of the moneys payable, with the interest thereon, in not more than five equal annual payments, the first of which is to become due not more than one year from the date of the extension being granted, and a similar payment to become due on the same date in each year thereafter until the whole of the moneys payable have been paid.

(3) The Treasurer may exercise similar powers in the case of any farmer not within any District Council to whom seed wheat has been supplied by him.
