20 Quel giovane gli disse: Tutte queste cose ho osservate fin dalla mia giovanezza; che mi manca egli ancora ? 21 Gesù gli disse: Se tu vuoi esser perfetto, va, vendi ciò che tu hai, e donalo a' poveri, e tu avrai un tesoro nel cielo; poi vieni, e seguitami. 22 Ma il giovane, udita quella parola, se ne andò contristato; perciocchè egli avea molte ricchezze. 23 E Gesù disse a' suoi discepoli: Io vi dico in verità, che un ricco malagevolmente entrerà nel regno de' cieli. 24 E da capo vi dico: Egli è più agevole che un cammello passi per la cruna di un ago, che un ricco entri nel regno di Dio. 25 E i suoi discepoli, udito ciò, sbigottirono forte, dicendo: Chi adunque può esser salvato? 26 E Gesù, riguardatili, disse loro: Questo è impossibile appo gli uomini, ma appo Iddio ogni cosa è possibile. 27 Allora Pietro, rispondendo, gli disse: Ecco, noi abbiamo abbandonata ogni cosa, e ti abbiam seguitato; che ne avrem dunque ? 28 E Gesù disse loro: Io vi dico in verità, che, nella nuova creazione, quando il Figliuol dell' uomo sederà sopra il trono della sua gloria, voi ancora che mi avete seguitato sederete sopra dodici troni, giudicando le dodici tribù d' Israele. 29 E chiunque avrà abbandonata casa, o fratelli, o sorelle, o padre, o madre, o moglie, o figliuoli, o possessioni, per lo mio nome, ne riceverà cento cotanti, ed erederà la vita eterna. 20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? 21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. 22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. 23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. 24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? 26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. 27 ¶ Then answered Peter_and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? 28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive a hundred fold, and shall inherit everlasting life. 30 But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first. Egli disse loro: Andate voi ancora nella vigna, e riceverete ciò che sarà ragionevole. 8 Poi, fattosi sera, il padron della vigna disse al suo fattore: Chiama i lavoratori, e paga loro il premio, cominciando dagli ultimi fino a' primi. 9 Allora que' dell' undici ore vennero, e ricevettero un denaro per uno. 10 Poi vennero i primi, i quali pensavano di ricever più, ma ricevettero anch'essi un denaro per uno. 11 E, ricevutolo, mormoravano contro al padron di casa, 12 Dicendo: Questi ultimi han lavorato solo un' ora, e tu gli hai fatti pari a noi, che abbiam portata la gravezza del dì, e l' arsura. 13 Ma egli, rispondendo, disse all'un di loro: Amico, io non ti fo alcun torto; non ti convenisti tu meco in un denaro ? 2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. 5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle? 7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. Ella gli disse: Ordina che questi miei due figliuoli seggano, l' uno alla tua destra, l' altro alla sinistra, nel tuo regno. 22 E Gesù, rispondendo, disse: Voi non sapete ciò che vi chieggiate; potete voi bere il calice che io berò, ed essere battezzati del battesimo del quale io sarò battezzato? Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? Benedetto colui che viene nel nome del Signore; Osanna, ne' luoghi altissimi! 10 Ed essendo egli entrato in Gerusalemme, tutta la città fu commossa, dicendo: Chi è costui ? 11 E le turbe dicevano: Costui è Gesù, il Profeta che è da Nazaret di Galilea. 12 E Gesù entrò nel tempio di Dio, e cacciò fuori tutti coloro che vendevano, e comperavano nel tempio; e riversò le tavole de' cambiatori, e le sedie di coloro che vendevano i colombi. 13 E disse loro: Egli è scritto: La mia casa sarà chiamata casa d' orazione, ma voi ne avete fatta una spelonca di ladroni. 14 Allora vennero a lui de' ciechi, e degli zoppi, nel tempio, ed egli li sanò. 15 Ma i principali sacerdoti, e gli scribi, vedute le maraviglie ch'egli avea fatte, e i fanciulli che gridavano nel tempio: Osanna al Figliuolo di Davide! furono indegnati. 16 E gli dissero: Odi tu ciò che costoro dicono? E Gesù disse loro: Sì. Non avete voi mai letto: Dalla bocca de' fanciulli, e di que' che poppano, tu hai stabilita la tua lode? 17 E, lasciatili, uscì della città verso Betania, e quivi albergò. 18 E la mattina, ritornando nella città, ebbe fame. 19 E, veggendo un fico in su la strada, andò ad esso, ma non vi trovò nulla, se non delle foglie. Ed egli gli disse: Giammai più in eterno non nasca frutto alcuno da te. And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise? 17 And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there. 18 Now in the morning, as he returned into the city; he hungered. 19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. 20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! 21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to |
