The advantages of Devout EXERCISES on Texts or portions of Scripture seem generally to be recognized by Evangelical Christians of all denominations. It occurred to the Author, that a Manual founded on the Selection of Epistles and Gospels in the Book of Common Prayer would be found a useful addition to works of a similar nature already published.
