And be it further enacted, That the treasurer pay, on the warrant of the comptroller, to the revisers of the laws, the sum of five hundred each, in part payment of the ainount allowed to them under the act, entitled “ an act for revising and publishing the laws of this state," passed April 21, 1825; and that the like sum be also paid to Henry Wheaton, for his services under said act. Enos r.! 19. And be it further enacted, That the treasurer shall pay, on the warrant of the comptroller, to Enos T. Throop, circuit judge of the seventh circuit, one hundred and twenty-six dollars, for his services under the act, entitled “ an act regulating the manufacturing of salt in the town of Salina," passed April 21st, 1825. Chancelloris 20. And be it further enacted, That the treasurer shall pay, on the warrant of the comptroller, from and after the first day of January last to the clerk employed by the chancellor, six hundred dol lars per annum, in equal quarterly payments. Surveyor 21. And be it further enacted, That the treasurer shall pay, on general. the warrant of the comptroller, the sum of two hundred and fifty dol lars to the surveyor-general for additional clerk hire, to take effect on the first of January last. And be it further enacted, That the treasurer shall pay, on the warrant of the comptroller, to Horatio Jones, such sum, not exceeding one hundred and fifty-three dollars and fifty cents, as shall appear to the satisfaction of the comptroller to be a fair compensa. tion to said Jones, for his services as Indian interpreter. C. Whimev. 23. And be it further enacted, That the treasurer pay, on the warrant of the comptroller, to Chauncey Whitney, of the city of Albany, thirty-six dollars and seventy-five cents, for his services in examining and comparing the state standards of weights and measures in the city of New-York the last year. 24. And be it further enacted, That the treasurer pay, on the A Andrews. warrant of the comptroller, to Amos Andrews, two dollars for each day's attendance by him on the senate, during the sitting of the legisJature, and two dollars per day for each day's attendance on the court for the trial of impeachments and the correction of errors, to be certified by the president of the senate; and that he be allowed twelve dollars for his travelling to and from the the court held for the trial of impeachments and the correction of errors, held in Sep tember last. w. Popham. 25. And be it further enacted, That there be paid, upon the warrant of the comptroller, to William Popham, clerk of the court of exchequer, six hundred and twenty-five dollars, for the salary allowed him by law. 26. And be it further enacted, That the treasurer pay to the Comptroller. comptroller, one hundred dollars, for the balance due him for his personal expenses in settling the accounts of this state against the United States. Esecutive 27. And be it further enacted, . That the treasurer shall pay, on chamber. the warrant of the comptroller, to the private secretary of the gov ernor, such sum, not exceeding five hundred dollars, as the comptroller shall deem proper, for necessary expenditures to furnish the executive chamber in the capitol.
