Claims Against the City.

AUDITOR'S OFFICE, JAN., 1894.

Persons having bills against the City must present them at the Office of the City Clerk or Auditor, ON OR BEFORE THE SECOND OF EACH MONTH, to insure prompt payment.

Charges against the different departments MUST be made out on separate bills, or they will not be allowed.

Be careful and note who ordered the article or articles; and if for labor, where it was performed, and under whose direction, with the proper dates, and approval of person ordering the same,

This will facilitate matters and greatly aid the Auditor to audit the claim without delay. HENRY CENTER, City Auditor.

Pay Days.

CITY TREASURY, Jan., 1894.

Regular weekly Pay Day, MONDAY; monthly Pay Day the THIRD

MONDAY of each month.

Military Aid is payable the fifteenth day of each month.

Please call on the regular pay day for your money.
