EPH. ii. 15, 16: Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; and that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby. LEV. xi. 2: Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth. Rom. xiv. 2, 3, 10, 13, 17: One believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. Why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. 1 COR. viii. 8: But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.
