B that hath not walk

ed in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stood in the way of finners and hath not fat in the feat of the fcornfull.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord: and in his law will he exercife himself day and night.

He fhall be like a tree planted by the waterfide: that will bring forth his fruit in due season.

His leaf alfo shall not wither and look whatfoever he doth, it shall profper.

As for the ungodly it is not fo with them: but they are like the chaff which the wind fcattereth away.

Therefore the ungodly fhall not be able to tand in the judgment: neither the finners in the congregation of the righ

teous.

But the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: and the way of the ungodly fhall perish.

In making the foregoing Compofitions, or other Leons that may be given, it will frequently occur that fome Words in the Italian, by an allegorical or different Expreffion or Turn, give more Elegance and Grace to the Language, I fhall therefore here fet down for the Learner's Improvement, certain Verbs and Prepofitions that have various Significations and require his attention.

ANDARE, to go, &c.

Andare dietro, to follow, to prefs, to folicit a Perfon.

Andar' in amore, to be in love.

Andar' in eftafi, to be raised, or in extasy.

paffion.
