MADAME RALLINGS continues to convince us that she has justly acquired her artistic reputation. There is an individuality about her styles which few succeed in obtaining. The following Parisian models are perfect in design and execution:

No. 1.-Dinner dress. The long pink silk skirt is gored and trimmed with two plaited flounces, each fastened down by a bias band, embroidered with white silk. Overdress of white silk. The open corsage is bordered by a pink quilling, and edged with white lace. A quilling heads the large open sleeve;

this is lined with pink, and finished by a white silk fringe. The open skirt is embroidered with pink, and edged with fringe. A pink fluting beneath a fringe outlines the rounded basque. Pink bands, with pointed ends, embroidered with white, and fringed, lift the tunic. at the sides. Pink bow with embroidered ends.

No. 2.-Visiting costume of blue Turc satin. The long skirt has a deep gathered flounce; the heading consists of a broad band, gathered in beneath a narrower band of white silk, embroidered with garlands of flowers in their natural colors. The open tunic is shaped. The embroidered fronts are flounced and bordered with a white silk band. The full pouf is supported by a broad bias of the same, with a graduating flounce, a small ruffle, and an

the narrow bands are of a darker shade, and the lower is edged with white lace; they cross the front, outline a pointed tablier and rounded tunic, and form the points at the sides; these points are trimmed with falls of rich white lace; dark rosettes and buttons. Small bouffant of white lace. The heart-shaped corsage has a pointed waist, edged with lace; the full sleeve is gathered beneath a broad band, bordered and fastened by a rouleau and buttons of the darker shade. Chemisette and fichu of white muslin and lace.

No. 5.-Hat of black velvet. The broad border is rolled at one side, and bound with black satin; flutings of satin ribbon

poplin; the deep flounce is arranged in groups of plaits; each group is sharply hollowed-out, and the flounce is headed by a band of black silk velvet, with a velvet button in each point. The open tunic is slightly puffed beneath a broad band of velvet, edged with very narrow white lace, and framed in poplin flutings. Fluted and pointed tablier, fastened down by buttons. Close casaque of black velvet; this is pointed in front, and rounded at the sides and back; it is trimmed with flutings and white lace; puffings, flutings, and lace finish the straight sleeves; black silk fringe edges the wristbands. Lace collar and undersleeves; violet satin bow at the neck. Black velvet hat with white feathers.

No. 4.-Toilet of lavendercolored silk. Long gored skirt ;

cover the low crown; the broad floating end is edged with tassel-fringe; a bright-plumaged bird crosses the top.

No. 6.-Bonnet of silver-gray satin. The diadem front has a satin ribbon bow; a broad band of ribbon crosses the top and falls at the sides; the strings fasten in a bow beneath the chin; the marabout feather is gray, tipped with black; at the back is a black lace rosette with long ends falling over the chignon.

No. 2.-Costume of maizecolored twilled foulard. The round skirt is crossed at the back by four gathered flounces, surmounted by a full pouf. At each side is a trimming of foulard écru (unbleached foulard). This is confined by maize-colored bows. A similar trimming, with a maize ruffle, heads the deep flounce in front. The short loose-fitting casaque opens in front, and has

No. 1.-Walking dress of pearl-gray mohair. The lower skirt is gored and quite plain. The second skirt forms a rounded tablier and very deep tunic. A band of black velvet confines the front and supports the full pouf. At each side is a large velvet rosette. Close-fitting casaque. The fronts are partly open, with black velvet revers and buttons. square basques. The narrow ruffle is of foulard écru. Both materials are employed for the large pagoda sleeves, the outer being of the darker shade. Maize-colored bows. Small maize silk hat, with a white rose at one side.

No. 3.-Visiting toilet of dead-leaf-colored silk. The trainskirt has a deep plaited flounce, which is edged at the top and 'bottom with a scalloped band, embroidered in darker shades. The upper skirt is looped up behind, and trimmed with a narrower plaiting to match the underskirt. Waistcoat bodice cut

It is bordered with a deep black silk tassel-fringe, and plaiting and embroidery; waistband, with bow of black velvet. is lifted at the sides by large loop-rosettes of satin ribbon to Rice straw hat, trimmed with a garland of flowers, and gauze scarf.

No. 4.-Costume for a young lady. Skirt and bodice of pale gray foulard, with blue stripes. Tunic casaque of plain gray foulard, without sleeves, tight-fitting at the waist, and large pouf behind. Black straw hat, trimmed with blue ribbon.

No. 4.-Black satin tunic. The rounded tablier is gathered up at the back. Over it falls a square basque, which is draped by a broad satin band. Tassel-fringe trimming.
