RULING ON PROTECTION FROM DUST.

Employers shall furnish approved respirators for the use of workers in dusty rooms and those engaged in sorting rubbish, and shall furnish gloves to protect the hands of workers engaged in sorting rubbish.

Convenient and adequate bathing facilities for employes engaged in dusty occupations should be provided.

Employes shall wear respirators when working over movable conveyors containing rubbish, or in dusty rooms. Gloves shall be used by employes when sorting rubbish. Women shall wear a tight fitting cap while sorting rubbish to protect the hair from infected dust.
