This is Volume II of the first comprehensive anthology of English-language Scottish Literature, one which covers all literary genres except the novel, and all periods. This volume includes 188 Scottish writers from about 1775 through Robert Louis Stevenson. The editor and anthologist, David McCordick, is a playwright, historian, literary scholar, and Professor at The University of Wisconsin-Stout. Dr. McCordick has had over a dozen plays produced and several articles and stories published. His last book was The Civil War Letters of Private Henry Kauffman.
