THE DEDICATION FESTIVAL will be observed by a celebration of Holy Communion at 11 a.m., on St. Paul's Day, January 25th, 1879, and on that day and the following (3rd Sunday after Epiphany) Collections will be made on behalf of the Church Expenses; when it is hoped that all friends of St. Paul's will make an effort to wipe off the outstanding liabilities. HE usual New Year's parties have passed off well, as also the dinner for the aged people and the tea-party at St. Paul's on St. Paul's day. The number of people over 60 years of age who sat down to dinner was 45. At the tea-party the Sunday School prizes were distributed as usual. The following Monday, January 27, the Rev. T. Jackson Smith kindly gave a Lecture on "Personal Reminiscences of Life in New Zealand." We re-print with this number the first eight pages of the Parish Register, having determined to do away with the use of 'peculiars' and to insert in italics those letters whose place is taken in the original by contractions. This change will we trust be acceptable to our readers. The publication of St. Paul's School Account is held over until next month. Baptisms.
