TO KNOW WHEN THE MOVEABLE FEASTS AND HOLY-DAYS BEGIN.

EASTER-DAY, on which the rest depen1, is always the First Sunday after the Full Moon, which happens upon or next after the Twenty-first Day of March; and if the Full Moon happen upon a Sunday, Easter-Day is the Sunday after.

Advent-Sunday is always the nearest Sunday to the Feast of St. Andrew, whether before or after.

In addition to the above, the first Thursday in November (or, if any other day be appointed by the Civil Authority, then such day) shall be observed as a Day of Thanks giving to Almighty God, for the Fruits of the Earth, and all other Blessings of his merciful Providence.
