Fifth Day of July One thoufand eight hundred and fourteen, certain new and additional Duties on the Importation, and to allow Draw backs on the Exportation of certain Goods, Wares and Merchandize into and from Ireland, and the Schedule to the faid A&t annexed; and in and by an Act made in the prefent Seffion of Parliament, intituled An Aa to continue, until the Fifth Day of July One thousand eight hundred and fifteen, and to amend feveral Ads for granting certain Rates and Duties, and for allowing certain Drawbacks and Bounties on Goods, Wares and Merchandize imported into and exported from Ireland; and to grant additional Duties on the Importation, and to allow Drawbacks on the Exportation of certain Goods, Wares and Merchandize into and from Ireland, until the Fifteenth Day of July One thoufand eight hundred and fifteen, and to make further Regulations for fecuring the Collection of the faid Duties, and the Schedule thereto annexed; and that, from and after the faid Sixth Day of July One thoufand eight hundred and fourteen, the Duties and Drawbacks by this Act and the Schedule marked (A.) thereto annexed, granted on Goods, Wares and Merchandize, not being the Growth, Produce or Manufacture of Great Britain, and the Drawbacks in respect thereof mentioned, specified and fet forth in this Act, and the faid Schedule, fhall be paid and payable, and allowed and allowable, on all fuch Goods, Wares and Merchandize, in lieu of the Duties and Drawbacks thereon under the faid hereinbefore recited Acts, or any of them; fave and except only as relates to any Arrears of the faid Duties under the faid recited Acts due and payable on the faid Sixth Day of July One thoufand eight hundred and fourteen, and fave only as is hereafter provided in and by this prefent Act. IX. And be it further enacted, That in all cafes where by the faid recited Act of the Forty fifth Year of His prefent Majefty's Reign for granting Duties on Goods imported into Ireland, or any Schedules thereto annexed, any Duties were imposed or made payable on any Articles, Matters or Things, which are not fpecified or enumerated in the Schedule marked (A.) to this Act annexed, all fuch Articles, Matters and Things not fo fpecified or enumerated in the faid Schedule to this Act annexed, shall pay the Duty in the faid Schedule to this Act annexed, according to the Value thereof, as Goods, Wares and Merchandize not being enumerated or defcribed in the faid Schedule to this A&t annexed, and accordingly as the fame fhall or fhall not be in part or wholly manufactured, in lieu and instead of the Duties on the faid Articles, Matters and Things specified or enumerated in the Schedule annexed to the faid recited Act of the Forty fifth Year of His prefent Majefty's Reign as aforefaid; and that where any Articles, Matters or Things which were not enumerated in any Schedule annexed to the faid recited Act of the Forty fifth Year of His Majefty's Reign are enumerated or defcribed in the Schedule marked (A.) to this in Sch. (A) of A&t annexed, such Articles, Matters and Things fhall be liable as enumerated Articles to the Duties in the faid Schedule (A.) to this Act annexed, mentioned and specified, in lieu of the Duty on the cles, under Act. Value thereof to which fuch Articles, Matters and Things were liable, as not being enumerated in the Schedule annexed to the faid recited Act of the Forty fifth Year of His Majefty's Reign aforefaid. Articles not enumerated in Sch. to 4.5 G. 3, c. 18. but enumerated A&; liable to Duties as enumerated Arti X. And be it further enacted, That, from and after the faid Exifting CounSixth Day of July One thoufand eight hundred and fourteen, the tervailing Duties and Equivalent feveral Countervailing Duties on the feveral Sorts of Goods, Wares Drawbacks conand Merchandize hereinafter mentioned and fpecified, being of the tinued to be paid Growth, Produce or Manufacture of Great Britain, and imported under following from thence directly into Ireland, and the feveral Equivalent Draw. Acts; viz. backs on Goods, Wares and Merchandize of the like Sorts, of the Growth, Produce or Manufacture of Ireland, and exported from thence directly to Great Britain, fhall continue to be paid, and fhall be paid and payable according to the feveral Amounts thereof, fpecified in the feveral Acts hereinafter mentioned, and as the same are granted and made payable by the faid Acts until the faid Duties and Drawbacks fhall be altered or repealed by any other Act or Acts; and that fuch Countervailing Duties, and Equivalent Drawbacks, fhall be paid and payable, and received and receivable, in refpect of the Duties in Ireland, upon the like Articles of the Growth, Produce or Manufacture of Ireland, or on the Materials of which they may be composed, granted and imposed by this Act, or any other Act or Acts in force in Ireland, at the time of the paffing of this Act; that is to fay, that the Countervailing Duties, On Glass, &c. and Equivalent Drawbacks on Glass Bottles, on Leather unmanu- under factured on Leather dreffed in Oil, on Leather manufactured into 39 40 G. 3. Goods, and Wares, on Vellum and Parchment, and on Mead, and Sch. B. Metheglin, and on Vinegar, fhall be paid according to the Amount thereof specified, and as the fame are granted and made payable in c. 67. Art. 6. and by the Acts for the Union of Great Britain and Ireland; and 40 G. 3. (I.) that the Countervailing Duties and Equivalent Drawbacks on Refined c.38. Sugars fhall be paid according to the Amount thereof specified, and as the fame are granted and made payable in and by the faid recited Act of the Forty fixth Year of His prefent Majefty's Reign, in Sch. B. tituled An Ad for granting to His Majefty until the Twenty ninth Refined Sugar Day of September One thoufand eight hundred and fix, certain under Duties on the Importation, and to allow certain Drawbacks and 46 G. 3. c.62. Bounties on the Exportation of certain Sorts of Iron, Sugar and Teas, into and from Ireland; and that the Countervailing Duties and Cards and Dice Equivalent Drawbacks on Cards and Dice, on Paper and Paper &c. under Hangings, on Books, on Wrought Plate, and on Sweets or Made 47 G. 3. Seff. 1. Wines, fhall be paid according to the Amount thereof specified, and c.18. Sch. B. as the fame are granted and made payable in and by an Act made in the Forty feventh Year of His prefent Maiefty's Reign, intituled An Ad to grant to His Majefty certain Inland Duties of Excife and Taxes in Ireland, and to allow certain Drawbacks in respect thereof, in lieu of former Duties of Excife, Taxes and Drawbacks, in the Schedule marked (B.), to the said Act annexed; and that the Coun- Cordage under tervailing Duties and Equivalent Drawbacks on Cordage fhall be 53 G. 3. c. 55. paid according to the Amount thereof specified, and as the fame are § 3. granted and made payable by the faid recited A&t of the Fifty third Year of His prefent Majefty's Reign, intituled An Ad to continue, until the Fifth Day of July One thoufand eight hundred and fourteen, and to amend feveral Ads for granting certain Rates and Duties, and for allowing certain Drawbacks and Bounties on Goods, Wares and Merchandize imported into and exported from Ireland; and to grant, until the said Fifth Day of July One thousand eight huu. dred and fourteen, certain new and additional Duties on the Import Malt and Beer, &c. under § 2. D. and E. to continue to be paid. ation, and to allow Drawbacks on the Exportation of certain Goods, Wares and Merchandize, into and from Ireland; and that the Countervailing Duties and Equivalent Drawbacks on Malt, and upon Beer or Ale, fhall be paid according to the Amount thereof specified, and as the fame are granted and made payable by an A& made in the faid Fifty third Year, intituled An Ad to grant to His Majefty certain Duties of Excife in Ireland on Malt; and that the Countervailing Duties and Equivalent Drawbacks on Tobacco manufactured or unmanufactured, and on Snuff, fhall be paid according to the Amount thereof specified, and as the fame are granted and made payable by an Act made in the faid Fifty third Year, intituled An Act to grant to His Majefty certain Duties of Excife in Ireland on Tobacco; and that the Countervailing Duties and Equivalent Drawbacks on Spirits and on Plate Glafs and Window Glafs, fhall be paid according to the Amount thereof specified, and as the fame are or may be granted, in or by any Act or Acts paffed or to be paffed in this prefent Seffion of Parliament, or under fuch A&s as may be in force for granting and impofing fuch last mentioned Countervailing Duties, at the time of the Importation of fuch Spirits or Glafs refpectively, and upon all fuch Plate Glafs and Window Glass, as shall not have been imported and entered at any time before the faid Sixth Day of July One thoufand eight hundred and fourteen; and that all fuch Countervailing Duties and Equivalent Drawbacks fhall be paid and payable under fuch Rules and Regulations refpecting the fame as are contained in the faid recited Acts or any of them, as if the faid Countervailing Duties and Equivalent Drawbacks were fpecifically mentioned and fet forth in this Act, and as if the faid Rules and Regulations were repeated and re-enacted in this A&t. XI. And be it further enacted and declared, That the Duties granted and made payable on the Importation into Ireland, of Salt, Hops and Coals, the Growth, Produce or Manufacture of Great Britain, under the faid recited A&t of the Forty fifth Year of His prefent Majefty's Reign, intituled An Ad for granting to His Majefty, until the Twenty fifth Day of March One thoufand eight hundred and fix, certain Rates and Duties; and to allow certain Drawbacks and Bounties upon Goods, Wares and Merchandize imported into and exported from Ireland, in lieu of former Rates and Duties, Drawbacks and Bounties; and alfo the Duties payable upon the Exportation of Goods, Wares and Merchandize of the Growth, Produce or Manufacture of Ireland mentioned and specified in the Schedule marked (C.), annexed to the faid recited Act of the Forty fifth Year of His prefent Majefty's Reign; and alfo the Duties of Tonnage upon Ships and Veffels trading to Ireland, and the Duties on Entries Inwards and Outwards in the Port of Dublin mentioned and fpecified in the Schedule marked (D.), annexed to the faid laft recited Act; and alfo the Bounties and Allowances on the Exportation of Linens, Calicoes and Cottons, and on Books specified in the Schedule marked (E.), annexed to the faid laft recited Act, shall be and continue in force, from and after the paffing of this Act, until the faid Duties and Bounties fhall be altered or repealed refpectively by any Act or Acts; and the faid Duties and Bounties fhall be paid and payable as if the fame had been specified, repeated and re-enacted in this prefent Act, and shall be levied, collected and paid in fuch manner New Duties on Gods formerly der Act. free payable un manner as is directed by the faid recited Act, or by any Act or Acts 55. § 3. XIII. And be it further enacted, That the feveral Drawbacks Drawbacks on upon the Exportation of any Cordage, manufactured in Ireland, Cordage as unallowed and made payable by the faid recited Act of the Fifty third der 53 6.3. Year of His prefent Majefty's Reign, intituled An Act to continue, until the Fifth Day of July One thoufand eight hundred and fourteen, and to amend feveral A&ts for granting certain Rates and Duties, and for allowing certain Drawbacks and Bounties on Goods, Wares and Merchandize, imported into and exported from Ireland; and to grant, until the faid Fifth Day of July One thousand eight hundred and fourteen, certain new and additional Duties, on the Importation, and to allow Drawbacks on the Exportation of certain Goods, Wares and Merchandize into and from Ireland; fhall continue to be paid and allowed, and fhall be paid and allowed in refpect of any Cordage manufactured in Ireland, from Hemp, which fhall have paid the Duties by this A&t impofed, and which fhall be exported to Great Britain, or elsewhere; and that upon all Tobacco manufactured in Ireland, which fhall be exported to any other Place than Great Britain, the Drawback or Compenfation mentioned and specified in the faid recited Act of the Fifty third Year of His Majefty's Reign, intituled An A& to grant to His Majefty certain Duties of Excife in Ireland on Tobacco, fhall continue to be paid and allowed in refpect of Tobacco manufactured from any Leaf Tobacco which fhall have paid the Duties impofed by this Act, and the Schedule (A.), thereto annexed, and the Excise Duty payable thereon according to Law, until the faid feveral Drawbacks fhall be repealed or altered by any Act or Acts, and as if the faid feveral Drawbacks had been expressly repeated and fet forth in this A&. and uponTo. bacco exported to Foreign Parts under 53 G. 3. c. 57. $3. continued in force. Drawbacks un der 45 G. 3. continue payable with respect to Goods having c. 18. &c. fhall XIV. And be it further enacted, That the Drawbacks granted, allowed and made payable under and by virtue of the faid recited A&t of the Forty fifth Year of His prefent Majefty's Reign, for granting Rates and Duties and allowing Drawbacks and Bounties upon Goods, Wares and Merchandize imported into or exported from Ireland, or other A&t or Acts hereinbefore recited, and in force immediately paid former 54 GEO.
