24 Ånd again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel 5 to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

the kingdom of God! I Tim. vi. 9, 10: They that will be rich, fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Job, xxxi. 24: If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, thou art my confidence. Ps. lxii. 10, 11: If riches increase, set not your heart upon them. God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this, that power belongeth unto God. Pro. xi. 28: He that trusteth in his riches shall fall. Mat. xxii. 14: For many are called, but few are chosen. JAMES, i. 23—25.: For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass : For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
