26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing "covered that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

28 And "fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

"PRO. xxix. 25: The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe. ISA. viii. 12: Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. do. li. 7, 12: Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings. A man indeed killeth through his malice, and the spirit when it is gone forth, returneth not, &c.

LUKE, xii. 8: Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God. Rom. x. 9, 10: If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father, the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. JOHN, vii. 40, 41: Many of the people therefore when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the prophet. Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee? ACTS, xiii. 45: When the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming. do. xxviii. 24: Some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not. w MC. vii. 6; The words under the 21st verse.
