The coming of Christ.

S In tiiat day (hall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David Jlmli be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they (hall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they (hall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only sin, and (hail be in bitterness for him as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
Ii In that day (hall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
Ii And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
13 The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;
14 All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.
CHAP. XIII. i Jerusalem's purgation from idolatry, and false prophecy, y The death os Christ, and the trial os a third part.
IN that day there (hall be a fountain opened to the house os David and tc the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for undeannesi.
2 And it (hall come to pass in that day, faith the Lor D of hests, shaft will cutoff the names of the idols out of the land, and they (hall no more be remembered: and also I will c:iuse the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.
3 And it (hall come to pass, that when any (hall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him mail fay unto him, Thou (halt not live; for thou spenkest lies in the name of the Lord: tod his father and his mother that begat him (hall thrust him through when ne prophesieth.
4 And it (hall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither (hall they wear a rough garment to deceive:
5 But he (hall fay, I am no prophet, I
am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.
6 And one lhall (ay unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he (hall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
7 «jj Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, faith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep (hall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.
% And it (hall come to pass, that in all the land, faith the Lo R D, two parts therein (hall be cut off, and die; but the third (hall be left therein.
9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them at silver Is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they (hall call on ray name, and I will hear them: I will fay, It is my people: and they shall fay, The Lord s'smy God.
CHAP. XIV. i The destroyers of Jerusalem destnjti.
4 The coming of Christ, and the grsuti
of his kingdom.
BEHOLD, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil (hall be divided in the midst of thee.
I For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city (hall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the rtsidue of the people (hall not be cutoff from the city.
3 Then shall the Lor D go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 «tf And his feet (hall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which'/ before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives (hall cleave in the mWft thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there stall he a very great valley; and half of the mountain (hall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains (hall reach unto Azal: yea, ye (hall flee like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king ot Judah: and the Lo R D my God fludl come, and all the saints with thee.

17 And it sliall be, that whoso will not come Up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them (hall be' no rain.
'18 And if the family of Egypt go not pp, and come riot, that have no rain; there (hall be the plague, wherewith the Lo R D will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
19 This (hall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punilhmentof all natioas that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
10 In that day (hall there be upon the" bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the Lord's house (hall be like the bowls before the altar.
1 *i Yea, every pot m Jerusalem and ia Judah (hall be holiness unto the Lord of hosts: and all they that sacrifice sliall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there (hall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the Lord of holts.

7 Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the Lord is contemptible.
8 And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the Jame and sick, is it not evil ? offer it now .unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? faith the Lord of hosts.

CHAP. II. I He repraveth the priests for oegleiling their covenant, 11 and the people for idolatry, 14. adultery, xy aud infidelity. AN D now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. 1 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay ;> to heart, to give glory unto mv name, faith the Lord of hosts, T will even fend a curse upon you, and I will curse your Westings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your face*, even the dung of your solemn fealts; and one (hall take you away with it.
4 And ye mail know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, faith the Lord of hosts.
5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear.wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.
'6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: lie walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.

8 But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to^stumble at tlic law; ye have corrupted the covenant 01 Levi, faith the Lord of hosts.
9 Therefore have I also made you con templible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.
10 Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us-? .why do we deal treacherously every mail against: his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?
11 fl Judah hath dealt treacherous', and an abomination is-committed in-lirae! and in Jerusalem: for judah hath profaned the holiness of the Lo a 11 which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.
12 The Lor o will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacle%of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the Lo R D of hosts.
1 3/And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the Lo Rd with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good wfll at your hand.
■ 14 ^J Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the Lord hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet it slie thy companion, aud the wife of thy covenant.
15 And did not he make one ? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to-your lpirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.
16 For the Lord, the pod of Ii'ne;. faith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, .faith the Lord of hosts: therefore take
heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.
17 ^ Ye have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet ye fay, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye fay, Every one that doeth evil it good in the fight ot the Lord, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgement?

4. Then (hall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in' former years.
5 And! will come near to you to judgement; and I,will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against thole that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, ana that turn* aside the stranger from hit right, and fear not me, laith the Lo R D of hosts.
