sliall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to Fear the Lord his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:

20 That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, tothe right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.

THE priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, (hall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they ihall eat the offering; of the Lor D made by fire, and his inheritance.

% Therefore Ihall they have no inheritance among their brethren: the Lo R D is their inheritance, as he hath said unto them.

3 fj And this (hall be the priest's due from the people, from them that offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox or (heep; and they (hall give unto the priest the shoulder, and the two cheeks, and the maw.

4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the fleece of thy (heep, slialt thou give him.

5 For the Lord thy God hath chosen him out of all thy tribes, to stand to minister in the name of the Lo R D, him and his sons for ever.

6 And if a Lcvite come from any of thy gates out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his mind unto the place which the Lord sliall choose;

7 Then he sliall minister in the name of the Lord his God, as all his brethren the Levites do, which stand there before the Lord.

8 They (hall have like portions to eat, beside that which cometh of the (ale of his patrimony.

9 When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God qjveth thee! thou slialt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

10 There (hall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the (ire, or that uscth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,

11 Or a charmer, or a confuker with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necro, mancer.

21 And if thou fay in thine heart, How (ball we know the word which the Lo R D hath not spoken?

12 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pals, that ;'/ the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

WHEN the Lord thy God "hath cut off the nations, whose land the Lord thy God giveth thee, and thou succeeded them, and dwellelt in their cities, and in their houses;

2 Thou (halt separate three cities for thee in the midst of thy land, which the Lor r> thy God giveth thee to possess it.

3 Thou (halt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the Lord thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every flayer inny tke thither.

13 Thine eye (hall not pity him, but thou (halt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.

14 Thou shalt not remove thy neighbour's landmark, which they of old time have let in thine inheritance, which thou (halt inherit in the land that the Lor r> thy God giveth thee to possess it.

15 One witness (hall not rile up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses shall the matter be established.

16 fj If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that uhicft is wrong;

8 Be merciful, O Lo R D, unto thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and lay not innocent blood unto thy people of Israel's charge. And the blood sliall be forgiven them.

9 So (halt thou put away the guilt of innocent blood from among you, when thou slialt do that which is right in the sight of the Lord.

Io When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the Lord thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive,

11 And seest among the captives a beau tiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife;

is Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house; and slie shall sliave her head, and pare her nails;

THOU shalt not see thy brother's ox or his Iheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou lhalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother.

2 And if thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou (halt bring it unto thine own house, and it sliall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou slialt restore it to him again.

3 In like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and ib (halt thou do with his rai ment; and with all lost thing of thy brother's, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, slialt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself.
