Caution.-NO METALLIC substances must come in contact with these antiseptics. Chas. Marchand's Peroxide of Hydrogen, must be kept below 65° F. Why is it? That Peroxide of Hydrogen and Glycozone are not yet universally used by the medical profession? 1. Because :-Until Chas. Marchand's Peroxide of Hydrogen C, P. medicinal, was placed on the market, the so-called Peroxide of Hydrogen manufactured by others and sold by druggists, was totally unfit for medicinal purposes, owing to its impurities; and only fit for technical purposes. 2. Because:-The great majority of physicians have not as yet become acquainted with the proper ways to apply these antiseptics. Any information desired will be mailed free of charge on application. 3. Because:-Owing to the large demand for Chas. Marchand's Peroxide of Hydrogen, medicinal imitations and substitutes are being forced on patients, when physicians do not especially specify on their prescription. Universally endorsed by the Medical Profession, and in use in the leading hospitals in Canada and the United States, wherever it has been presented. The "Medical Register," of Philadelphia, speaks of the above instrument as follows:-"We have seen a very ingenious combination of surgical instruments, invented by Drs. W. S. and F. Black, of Canada, comprising a cupping apparatus, breast pump, aspirator and stomach pump, for which we predict an extensive sale. The apparatus is elegantly got up, and each part is a perfect instrument of its kind. The simplicity of its structure, and the care and accuracy with which it works, cannot fail to commend it to the Profession; and, indeed, at the low figure at which it is placed in the market, we can scarcely see that the general practitioner can well afford to do without an instrument which possesses so wide a range of usefulness." Its The "Medical and Surgical Reporter" says :-" This is a very convenient instrument, simple in construction and efficient in action........The valves act automatically. The capacity of the barrel is about three ounces. action is smooth and easy, and we believe it is calculated to be of great service to physicians."
