WHEREAS, It appears the revised statutes of 1878 have failed to make any provision for the appointment of county superintendents in cases where a vacancy occurs, therefore

Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That Jt. Res. No. 2, A., be and the same is hereby suspended so far as to allow a bill to be introduced in the senate to remedy the defect.
