33 Doch muß ich heute und morgen, and am Tage darnach wandeln; denn es thuts nicht, daß ein Prophet umtomme außer Jerusalem. 34 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, die du tödtest die Propheten, und steinigest, die zu dir gesandt werden, wie oft habe ich wollen deine Kinder versammeln, wie eine Henne ihr Nest unter ihre Flügel; und ihr habt nicht gewollt! 35 Sehet, euer Haus soll euch wüste gelassen werden. Denn ich sage euch Ihr werdet mich nicht sehen, bis daß es komme, daß ihr sagen werdet: Gelobet ist, der da fommt in dem Namen des Herrn ! Das 14 Capitel. Und es begab sich, daß er kam in ein Haus eines Oberften der Bhari fäer, auf einen Sabbath, das Brod zu essen, und sie hielten auf ihn. 2 Und siehe, da war ein Mensch vor ihm, der war wassersüchtig. 3 Und Jesus antwortete, und sagte zu den Schriftgelehrten und Pharisa ern, und sprach: Ist es auch recht auf den Sabbath heilen? 4 Sie aber schwiegen still. Und er griff ihn an und heilete ihn, und ließ ihn gehen. 5 Und antwortete, und sprach zu ihnen: Welcher ist unter euch, dem sein Ochs oder Esel in den Brunnen fällt, und er nicht alsobald ihn heraus ziehet am Sabbathtage? 6 Und sie fonnten ihm darauf nicht wieder Antwort geben. 7 Er sagte aber ein Gleichniß zu den Gästen, da er merkte, wie sie erwählten, oben an zu sitzen, und sprach zu ihnen: 33 Nevertheless I must walk today and to-morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem. 34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have ga thered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! 35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. And verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. 2 And behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy. 3 And Jesus answering, spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath-day? 4 And they held their peace. And he took him, and healed him, and let him go: 5 And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath-day? 6 And they could not answer him again to these things. And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them, 8 When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room, lest a more honourable man than thou be bidder of him; 9 And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give diesem; und du müssest dann mit | this man place; and thou begin Scham unten an sitzen. 10 Sondern wenn du geladen wirst, so gehe hin, und setze dich unten an, auf daß, wenn da kommt, der dich geladen hat, spreche zu dir: Freund, rücke hinauf. Dann wirst du Ehre haben vor denen, die mit dir zu Tische Atzen. 11 Denn wer sich selbst erhöhet, der soll erniedrigt werden; und wer sich selbst erniedriget, der soll erhöhet wer ben. 12 Er sprach auch zu dem, der ihn geladen hatte: Wenn du ein Mittagsoder Abendmahl machest, so lade nicht deine Freunde, noch deine Brüder, noch deine Gefreundten, noch deine Nachbarn die da reich sind; auf daß sie dich nicht etwa wieder laden, und dir vergolten werde. 13 Sondern wenn du ein Mahl machest, so lade die Armen, die Krüppel, die Lahmen, die Blinden : 14 So bist du selig; denn sie haben es dir nicht zu vergelten. Es wird dir aber vergolten werden in der Auferstehung der Gerechten. 15 Da aber solches hörete einer, der mit zu Tische saß, sprach er zu ihm: Selig ist, der das Brod isset im Reiche Gottes. 16 Er aber sprach zu ihm: Es war ein Mensch, der machte ein großes Abendmahl, und lud Viele dazu. 17 Und sandte seinen Knecht aus zur Stunde des Abendmahls, zu sagen den Geladenen kommt, denn es ist alles bereit. 18 Und sie fingen an alle nach einander sich zu entschuldigen. Der erste sprach zu ihm: Ich habe einen Acker gekauft, und muß hinaus gehen, und ihn besehen, ich bitte dich, entschuldige mich. 19 Und der andere sprach: Ich habe fünf Joch Ochsen gekauft, und ich gehe jetzt hin, sie zu besehen; ich bitte dich, entschuldige mich. 20 Und der dritte sprach: Ich habe ein Weib genommen, darun kann ich nicht kommen with shame to take the lowest room. 10 But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee. 11 For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased, and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. 12 ¶ Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompense be made thee. 13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind; 14 And thou shalt be blessed: for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just. 15 And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God. 16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: 17 And sent his servant at supper-time, to say to them that were bidden, Come, for all things are now ready. 18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. 19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. 20 And another said, I have mar. ried a wife: and therefore I can not come. 21 Und der Knecht kam, und sagte das seinem Herrn wieder. Da ward der Hausherr zornig, und sprach zu feinem Knechte: Gehe aus bald auf die Straßen und Gassen der Stadt, und führe die Armen, und Krüppel, und Lahmen, und Blinden herein. 22 Und der Knecht sprach: Herr, es ist geschehen, was du befohlen hast; es Ist aber noch Raum da. 23 Und der Herr sprach zu_dem Knechte: Gehe aus auf die Landstra hen, und an die Zäune, und nöthige fie, herein zu kommen, auf daß mein Haus voll werde. 24 Ich sage euch aber, daß der Månner feiner, die geladen sind, mein Abendmahl schmecken wird. 25 Es ging aber viel Volks mit ihm. Und er wandte sich, und sprach zu ihnen: 26 So Jemand zu mir fommt, und haset nicht seinen Vater, Mutter, Weib, Kinder, Brüder, Schwestern, auch dazu sein eigenes Leben, der kann nicht mein Jünger seyn. 27 Und wer nicht sein Kreuz trägt und mir nachfolgt, der kann nicht mein Jünger seyn. 28 Wer ist aber unter euch, der einen Thurm bauen will, und sitzt nicht zubor, und überschlägt die Kosten, ob er es habe hinaus zu führen? 29 Auf daß nicht, wo er den Grund gelegt hat, und fann es nicht hinaus führen, alle, die es sehen, anfangen seiner zu spotten, 30 lind sagen: Dieser Mensch hob an zu bauen, und kann es nicht hinaus führen. 31 Oder, welcher König will sich begeben in einen Streit wider einen anbern König, und sitzt nicht zuvor, und rathschlagt, ob er könne mit zehn taufend begegnen dem, der über ihn fommt mit zwanzig tausend? 32 Wo nicht, so schickt er Botschaft, wenn jener noch ferne ist, und bittet um Frieden. 33 Also auch ein jeglicher unter euch, 21 So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry, said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. 22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. 23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. 24 For I say unto you, that none of those men which were bidden, shall taste of my supper. 25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them, 26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. 28 For which of you intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? 29 Lest haply after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, 30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. 31 Or what king going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? 32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. 33 So likewise, whosoever he be der nicht ablagt allem, das er hat, kann | of you that forsaketh not all that nicht mein Jünger seyn. he hath, he cannot be my disciple. 34 Das Salz ist ein gutes Ding; wo aber das Salz dumm wird, womit wird man würzen ? 35 & gift moeder auf das Land, mich in den Mist nütze; sondern man wird es wegwerfen. CHAPTER XV. ner und Sünder, daß fie ihn - THEN drew near unto him all 2 Und die Pharifäer und Schriftgelehrten murreten und sprachen: Dieser aimmt die Sünder an, und iffet mit ihnen. 3 Er fagte aber zu ihnen dies Gleichniß, und sprach: 4 Welcher Mensch ist unter euch, der hundert Schafe hat, und so er der Eins verlieret, der nicht lasse die neun unt neunzig in der Wüste, und hingehe nach dem verlornen, bis daß er es finde ? 5 Und wenn er es gefunden hat, so legt er es auf seine Achseln mit Freuden. 6 Und wenn er heim kommt, ruft er seine Freunde und Nachbarn, und spricht zu ihnen: Freuet euch mit mir, denn ich habe mein Schaf gefunden. das verloren war. 7 Ich sage euch: Also wird auch Freude im Himmel sehn über Einen Sünder, der Buße thut, por neun und neunzig Gerechten, die der Buße nicht bedürfen. 8 Oder, welches Weib ist, die zehn Groschen hat, so ste der Einen verlieret, die nicht ein Licht anzünde, und fehre das Haus, und suche mit Fleiß, bis daß sie ihn finde? 9 Und wenn sie ihn gefunden hat, ruft sie ihre Freundinnen und Nachbarinnen, und spricht: Freuet euch mit mir, denn ich habe meinen Groschen gefunden, den ich verloren hatte. 10 Also auch, sage ich euch, wird Freude seyn vor den Engeln the publicans and sinners for to hear him. 2 And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them. 3 T And he spake this parable unto them, saying, 4 What man of you having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? 5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. 7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons which need no repentance. 8 ¶ Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? 9 And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. 10 Likewise, I say unto you, There is joy in the presence of Gottes über einen Sünder, der Buße thut. 11 Und er sprach: Ein Mensch hatte zween Söhne; 12 Und der jüngste unter ihnen sprach zum Vater: Gib mir, Vater, das Theil der Güter, das mir gehöret. Und er theilte ihnen das Gut. 13 und nicht lange darnach sammelte der jüngste Sohn alles zusammen, und zog ferne über Land; und daselbst brachte er sein Gut um mit Prassen. 14 Da er nun alles das Seine verzehret hatte, ward eine große Theurung burch dasselbige ganze Land, und er fing an zu darben; 15 und ging hin, und hängete sich an einen Bürger desselbigen Landes, der schickte ihn auf seinen Acker, die Säue zu hüten 16 Und er begehrete, seinen Bauch zu füllen mit Träbern, die die Säue aßen; und Niemand gab ste ihm. 17 Da schlug er in sich, und sprach: Wie viele Tagelöhner hat mein Vater, die Brods die Fülle haben, und ich verderbe im Hunger. 18 Ich will mich aufmachen, und zu meinem Vater gehen, und zu ihm sagen: Vater, ich habe gesündiget in dem Himmel und vor dir; 19 Und bin hinfort nicht mehr werth, daß ich dein Sohn heiße. Mache mich als einen deiner Tagelöhner. 20 Und er machte sich auf, und kam zu seinem Vater. Da er aber noch ferne von dannen war, sah ihn fein Vater, und jammerte ihn, lief und fiel ihm um seinen Hals, und füssete ihn. 21 Der Sohn aber sprach zu ihm: Bater, ich habe gesündiget in dem Himmel und vor dir; ich bin hinfort nicht mehr werth, daß ich dein Sohn heiße. 22 Aber der Vater sprach zu seinen Knechten: Bringet das beste Kleid hervor, und thut ihn an, und gebet ihm einen Fingerreif an seine Hand, und Schuhe au seine Füße. the angels of God over oue sinner that repenteth. 11 T And he said, A certain man had two sons: 12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. 13 And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. 14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. 15 And he went and joined him self to a citizen of that country and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat; and no man gave unto him. 17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. 21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaveu, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. 22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: |
